A more capable, more reliable AI Copilot
The AI Chat Copilot takes a major leap in Version 12.
It now supports Azure OpenAI and reasoning models, with expanded model retrieval and a streamlined setup that removes the manual temperature settings. Alongside those additions, we’ve focused heavily on stability, so day-to-day AI assistance is noticeably more dependable.
We also improved AI Code Reverse. By separating the code-analysis phase from model generation, you can now save and reuse analysis results — dramatically cutting processing time when you turn existing code into models.
A clearer view of your reference projects
For teams working across large, multi-file models, Reference Model Management (in Astah Professional) has been reworked. Version 12 introduces a clear hierarchical dependency tree and easier file-status tracking, so you can see how projects relate at a glance. A new batch-update option lets you sync multiple reference projects at once, and when merging files, comparisons can be based on a designated priority project for faster, cleaner conflict resolution.
